Group BTS has succeeded in winning awards for five consecutive years at the American Music Awards (AMA), one of the top three popular music awards ceremonies in the United States.\u00a0<\/p>\n
At the ‘2022 AMA’ held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on the 21st, BTS won the ‘Favorite Pop Duo\/Group’ and ‘Favorite K-Pop Artist’ categories.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Starting with the \u2018Favorite Social Artist\u2019 in 2018, BTS wrote a new record of winning the \u2018AMA\u2019 for 5 consecutive years.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In particular, in the \u201cFavorite Pop Duo\/Group\u201d category, they have succeeded in winning the award for four years since 2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n
BTS is the only team in the history of \u2018AMA\u2019 to have won the \u2018Favorite Pop Duo\/Group\u2019 trophy four times.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u2018Favorite K-Pop Artist\u2019 is a category newly established this year, and BTS beat Blackpink, Seventeen, Twice, and Tomorrow by Together to become the first winner.\u00a0<\/p>\n
BTS will challenge their first award at the ’65th Grammy Awards’ to be held in February next year.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, TXT, a junior group of BTS who were nominated for the category of \u2018Favorite K-Pop Artist\u2019, stepped on the red carpet of \u2018AMA\u2019 for the first time since their debut.<\/p>\n
