Girls’ Generation Seohyun took the first place in the voting for the first week of July on ‘Who will be celebrating a birthday in Times Square?’ conducted by the global K-pop fandom platform ‘Whosfan’. Seohyun, who celebrated her birthday on June 28, boasted a high turnout of 62.09% with overwhelming support from global fans, and took first place. Voting was held for a week from June 7th to 14th. The advertisement was sent out for a week from June 28 to July 4 in the local time on a 47-meter-long billboard in the building right next to ‘tkts’, which is known as the heart of Times Square in New York. Earlier, at 7 pm on the 1st, Whosfan released a local video of the advertisement being sent through YouTube’s ‘Whosfan TV’ channel.
Whosfan is holding global fans’ votes every week for K-pop artists’ birthdays for a large billboard advertisement account in Times Square in New York.
