The group Mamamoo will present themselves in a movie that has been active for the past 7 years. Mamamoo, a four-member group consisting of Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa, debuted in June 2014, and to commemorate the 7th anniversary of this year, the live online concert held in August is shown on the screen.
‘Mamamoo 2021 WAW Concert The Movie’ will be released at 39 CGVs nationwide on the 3rd. Through the movie, Mamamoo will reveal the live stage seen from the process of preparing for the concert, as well as the stories and appearances that have not been told or shown to fans.
Prior to them, the group BTS, Blackpink, Twice, Monsta X, Sechs Kies, IZone, and singer Jaejoong Kim have also presented documentary films containing their stories one after another.
In particular, BTS and Blackpink, the representatives of K-pop, confirmed their fandom by releasing their films not only in Korea but also abroad.
CJ CGV’s communication team leader Hwang Jae-hyeon said on November 30, “A theater with a large screen, rich sound, and comfortable seating has the image of a space optimized for concerts.”
