BTS earned $33.3 million (about 39.4 billion won) in four days from a face-to-face concert held at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles, USA for the first time in two years.
BTS is the first non-English speaking artist to earn more than $30 million through a single concert. Billboard reported on BTS’ concert earnings on the 3rd like this, and reported that it was the biggest box office record in nearly 10 years in the global music performance market.
According to the Billboard Box Score, which counts concert ticket sales, BTS sold 214,000 tickets through the 4th performance of ‘Permission to Dance on Stage’, earning $33.3 million in income.
Based on the concert held in the United States, it is the largest record in 18 years, and it is ranked second at the box office following Bruce Springsteen’s New Jersey performance ($38.7 million) in the 30-year history of the Billboard box score.
In particular, BTS is the first non-English-speaking artist to break the box score of $30 million through a single concert.
