In the digital music category, (G)I-dle, AKMU, Ash Island, Kyungseo Yeji, Jeon Gun-ho, Davichi, Red Velvet, Rosé, BTS, Ben, Brave Girls, Big Mama, SHINee, Sojung, Song Yi-han, StayC, IU, Espa, Oh My Girl, Lee Moo-jin, Lee Ye-jun, Lim Young-woong, Itzy, Jeon So-mi, Jeong Dong-ha, Joy, Taeyeon, Twice, Huh Gak, Heize, and Hyuna were nominated.
The once-in-a-lifetime nominee for the Rookie of the Year award was selected by adding up the amount of music used and album sales. Kwon Eun-bi, Future Boy, StayC, aespa, Omega X, Chan-won Lee, EPex, Yu-ri Jo, and Purple Kiss are nominated for the Rookie of the Year award.
The ’36th Golden Disc Awards’ will be held on January 8, 2022 at Gocheok Sky Dome, Guro-gu, Seoul.
