BTS member V was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records by collecting 10 million followers in 4 hours and 52 minutes after opening an Instagram account.
According to the BTS fan club ARMY, member V achieved 1 million and 10 million followers on Instagram in the shortest time, and was officially certified as a new Guinness World Record.
Guinness said, “V broke 1 million followers in 43 minutes (since opening his Instagram account) and ranked first in the number of followers among members. It didn’t stop there and set a record of 10 million followers in 4 hours and 52 minutes.”
Guinness said, “BTS is setting a new Guinness record with its undeniable influence on popular music and culture. BTS set world records in five categories with ‘Butter’ this year and only V set a personal record.”
