JYP Entertainment girl group NiziU’s pre-debut song ‘Make you happy’ has surpassed 300 million streams on Billboard Japan.
Billboard Japan recently announced through its official website, “NiziU’s pre-debut mini album title song ‘Make you happy’ released on June 30, 2020 has recorded 300 million streaming counts on the Billboard Japan chart.”
With this, NiziU achieved the group’s first cumulative play count of 300 million on Billboard Japan, and ‘Make you happy’ was listed as the 17th 300 million streaming song in Billboard Japan’s history.
NiziU’s ‘Make you happy’, which was written and composed by JYP’s representative producer Park Jin-young, was loved by fans for the members’ lively charm and the point choreography ‘jump dance’.
As if to prove this, the cumulative number of plays exceeded 100 million within 15 weeks of entering the Billboard Japan chart, and after that, it achieved 200 million streaming in 18 weeks, proving its long-run popularity by writing a new record this time.
In addition, NiziU showed off their dazzling presence by posting their official debut single title song ‘Step and a step’ and the second single title song ‘Take a picture’ on Billboard Japan’s billion-dollar streaming list last year.
