Billlie (Moon Sua, Suhyeon, Haram, Tsuki, Sheon, Siyoon, Haruna) will release their second mini-album ‘The Collective Soul and Unconceived: Chapter One’ and the title song ‘GingaMingaYo (the strange world)’ through various online music sites at 6 pm on the 23rd.
Billlie, who has been acclaimed for their high musical perfection since their debut album, ‘The Village of Perception: Chapter One’, is expected to boast a variety of music through the 2nd mini album.
Through this album, Billlie will maintain a strong extension from their previous work and further strengthen Billy’s unique genre.
Despite the short time of 100 days since debut, Billlie proved the charm of 7 people and 7 colors, which became more trendy with the 5 types of official photos and music video teaser videos before the comeback, and the power of all-round concept digestion.
Just as it dealt with the daily life of seeing a mysterious story that took place in a village from the perspective of Billlie in reality at the time of his debut album, this time Billlie is also in touch with reality, but through a unique series in which mystery and fantasy coexist and an expanded worldview.
For the concept film, Hong Won-ki, director of ‘Urban Ghost Story’ and ‘Music Video Masterpiece’ Johnny Bros, grabbed the megaphone, and Jo Yoon-young of the drama ‘Moon Lovers’ wrote the story, and Melo-mance Jung Dong-hwan wrote the soundtrack, which doubled Billlie’s colorful charms.
The concept film ‘What is your B?’, released on the 14th, represents a reality that intersects with the previous work, and has been well received for its movie-like scale and immersion. The music video for the title song ‘GingaMingaYo’, which expresses the episodes in dreams and the unconscious with Billlie’s unique mise-en-scène, is also attracting attention as it is expected to show high-quality visuals.
The message that Billlie wants to convey through all of this is the ‘start of a journey’ that completes the two separate narratives of ‘The Village of Perception’ and ‘The Collective Soul and Unconceived’ in parallel.
