The group BTS shows off its popularity on the U.S. Billboard chart.
According to the latest chart released by U.S. music media Billboard on the 26th (local time) (April 30), “My Universe,” released by BTS in collaboration with Coldplay on September 24 last year, ranked 31st in “Billboard Global (excluding the U.S.) and 42nd in “Billboard Global 200. Billboard Global and Billboard Global (excluding the U.S.) charts are ranked by aggregating streaming and sales from more than 200 countries and regions around the world. BTS topped both charts for 30 consecutive weeks. “My Universe” was also ranked 21st on “Alternative Digital Song Sales” and 18th on “Billboard Canada AC.” BTS have 3 more songs in addition to “My Universe for “Billboard Global 200” and “Billboard Global (excluding the U.S.)”. “Butter” ranked 44th, “Dynamite” ranked 50th, and “Permission to Dance” ranked 160th in the “Billboard Global (excluding the U.S.) chart, “Butter” ranked 32nd, “Dynamite” ranked 37th, and “Permission to Dance” ranked 88th.
Meanwhile, BTS’s albums also lined up in the charts. The LOVE YOURSELF “Her” album, which came out in September 2017, settled at 34th place in “Top Album Sales” and 2nd place in “World Album,” while the album “BE” released in November 2020 ranked 50th in “Top Current Album Sales” and 4th in “World Album.” In addition, “MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA”, which was released in April 2019, ranked 97th in “Top Album Sales” and 7th in “World Album”.
