Group ITZY has changed dramatically through the new album ‘CHECKMATE’. On the 13th, JYP Entertainment, the agency, released 6 concept photos on the official social media channel to get a glimpse of the atmosphere of the new album.
In the teaser, ITZY perfectly digested the styling that emphasized black and white colors and showed off her alluring beauty.
Yuna boasted unrealistic proportions and the unique atmosphere of the youngest Yuna. ITZY prepared a large-scale comeback promotion for fans who have been waiting for a new album in about 10 months since the first full-length album ‘CRAZY IN LOVE’ released in September last year.
The 4th mini album ‘GUESS WHO’, released in April last year, entered the US Billboard’s main chart ‘Billboard 200’ for the first time, and in September, the 1st regular album ‘Crazy in Love’ appeared on the ‘Billboard 200’ chart compared to its predecessor. It climbed up 137 steps and ranked 11th, its best performance.
In addition, ITZY will hold their first world tour in August of this year and lead the global rise. On the other hand, ITZY’s new album ‘Checkmate’ will be officially released on July 15th at 1pm, eastern time in the US.
