The group TOMORROW X TOGETHER won two crowns at the ‘30th Anniversary Hanteo Music Awards 2022’.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER (Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, HueningKai) won the Artist of the Year Main Award and the Global Artist Award in the Asian Division at the 30th Anniversary Hanteo Music Awards 2022 held at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul on the 11th.
Last year, TOMORROW X TOGETHER set a new record for the group’s own “longest chart-in” by staying on the Billboard 200, the main album chart of Billboard, for 14 consecutive weeks with the 4th mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child”.
This album also ranked 192nd on the Billboard 200 Albums on the Billboard 2022 year-end settlement chart, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER is the only 4th-generation K-pop artist to be listed on this chart.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER is on a steep rise with their new album, ‘Chapter of Name: TEMPTATION’. ‘The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION’, which sold 2.18 million copies in the first week of release and became a ‘double million seller’, entered the US Billboard’s main album chart, ‘Billboard 200’ (as of February 11) and went straight to No. 1.
The album also topped the Oricon weekly album chart, making TOMORROW X TOGETHER the first artist to have 7 consecutive albums at the top of the chart.
