BTS Jungkook Sets New Record with 14 Songs Surpassing 100 Million Streams on Spotify

BTS’s Jungkook continues to make waves on Spotify with impressive streaming numbers.

The track ‘Hate You’ from Jungkook’s first solo album ‘GOLDEN’, released last November, recently surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify. This milestone brings Jungkook’s total to 14 songs with over 100 million streams on the world’s largest music streaming platform.

In addition to ‘Hate You’, other tracks from the ‘GOLDEN’ album, including ‘Seven’, ‘3D’, ‘Standing Next to You’, ‘Yes or No’, and ‘Please Don’t Change’, have also reached this milestone. Furthermore, Jungkook’s self-composed song ‘Still with you’, the webtoon OST ‘Stay Alive’, the official soundtrack for the 2022 FIFA World Cup ‘Dreamers’, his collaboration track ‘Left and Right’, and his solo tracks ‘Too much’, ‘Euphoria’, ‘My Time’, and ‘Begin’ have all surpassed 100 million streams.

‘GOLDEN’ set a new record by having six tracks reach over 100 million streams within 202 days of its release, the fastest for any Asian artist’s album.

Previously, Jungkook achieved over 500 million streams for five songs (‘3D’, ‘Seven’, ‘Standing Next to You’, ‘Left and Right’, ‘Euphoria’) and over 600 million streams for three songs (‘Seven’, ‘Standing Next to You’, ‘Left and Right’), the most among K-pop solo artists.

‘GOLDEN’ also became the first album by an Asian solo artist to surpass 3.5 billion streams on Spotify, achieving this feat in record time.

Among the tracks from ‘GOLDEN’, ‘Seven’ set records by reaching 100 million, 900 million, 1 billion, and 1.1 billion streams in the shortest time on Spotify. Recently, it became the first song by an Asian artist and K-pop solo artist to surpass 1.6 billion streams.

Other notable streaming numbers include ‘Standing Next to You’ with over 630 million streams, ‘3D’ with over 550 million, ‘Yes or No’ with over 160 million, ‘Please Don’t Change’ with over 100 million, ‘Still with you’ with over 180 million, ‘Stay Alive’ with over 290 million, ‘Dreamers’ with over 410 million, ‘Left and Right’ with over 930 million, ‘Too much’ with over 130 million, ‘Euphoria’ with over 570 million, ‘My Time’ with over 250 million, and ‘Begin’ with over 150 million streams.

Jungkook also set a new record by being the first K-pop solo artist to surpass 5.9 billion streams across all credits on his Spotify profile, further cementing his presence and influence in the music industry.
