The time to fall under Jimin’s spell is almost here.
On the stroke of midnight on the 17th (KST), BTS’s Jimin released the teaser for the music video of his solo second album “MUSE” title track “Who” on HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel.
In the video, Jimin walks through a smoke-filled night street to the rhythmic strumming of a guitar. The sound of his footsteps on the pavement, bathed in a bluish twilight, merges seamlessly with the guitar notes, creating a unique harmony. As he stops in the middle of the street, the guitar briefly fades, and Jimin’s mesmerizing voice delivers the line, “Who is my heart waiting for?” The setting, reminiscent of a New York night, combined with Jimin’s vocals and the beautiful guitar accompaniment, raises anticipation for the full music video.
The title track “Who” is a hip-hop R&B genre song characterized by intense bounce and guitar riffs. The beat exudes a sexy, bold vibe, while the song’s message is deeply romantic, expressing a yearning to find true love. The track was crafted by a team of notable producers, including Pdogg, GHSTLOOP, Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and producer Jon Bellion, Pete Nappi, and Tenroc.
All tracks from Jimin’s solo second album “MUSE,” including the title track “Who,” will be simultaneously released worldwide on July 19 at 1 PM. Unlike his first solo album “FACE,” released in March 2023, which was about confronting his true self, “MUSE” explores the journey of finding the source of inspiration. The album, themed around “love,” connects its seven tracks in a cohesive narrative.
