K-pop group DRIPPIN (Hwang Yoonseong, Lee Hyeop, Joo Changuk, Kim Dongyun, Kim Minseo, Cha Junho) is set to make a comeback.
On the 6th, Woollim Entertainment announced through their official YouTube channel that DRIPPIN will be releasing their fifth single, “Weekend,” on the 19th of this month. The announcement was accompanied by a trailer video.
The video captures the members of DRIPPIN enjoying a relaxed journey on a bus traveling down a quiet road. The members bask in the sunlight and gentle breeze, laughing, playing around, and taking photos, displaying a sense of camaraderie and joy.
As the bus stops at a station, the members are seen looking at the expansive ocean view with puzzled expressions, hinting at an unexpected twist. The video ends with the members running after the departing bus, leaving fans curious about the new single’s concept.
This comeback comes approximately four months after their previous release, the fourth single “Beautiful MAZE,” in April. Known for capturing the diverse emotions of contemporary youth in their previous work, DRIPPIN aims to charm global fans once again with refreshing visuals and a summer-appropriate concept.
Approaching their 4th debut anniversary in October, DRIPPIN plans to showcase upgraded music and performances with “Weekend,” positioning themselves to make a significant impact in the music industry.
DRIPPIN’s fifth single “Weekend,” set to infuse the summer music scene with its clear and refreshing energy, will be available on various music streaming platforms starting from 6 PM on the 19th.
