BTS member Jungkook’s solo song “Standing Next to You” has showcased impressive chart performance in the UK.
According to the latest UK Official Charts (September 13-19), Jungkook’s solo track “Standing Next to You” re-entered the “Official Singles Download Chart” at 11th place. It also re-entered the “Official Singles Sales Chart” at 12th place, securing high rankings on both charts. The song has stayed on these two charts for 16 weeks, demonstrating its strong staying power.
Jungkook’s debut solo album GOLDEN, which includes “Standing Next to You,” also re-entered the UK Official Physical Albums Chart at 100th place for the week of August 23-29, marking 20 weeks on the chart.
Since its release in November 2023, “Standing Next to You” initially peaked at number one on the Official Singles Download Chart and number two on the Official Singles Sales Chart, breaking Jungkook’s own records. Additionally, the track debuted at 6th place on the UK Official Top 100 Singles Chart on November 10, 2023, and remained on the chart for 11 weeks in total.
“Standing Next to You” also made its debut at number 5 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart and stayed on the chart for 19 consecutive weeks. It topped both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global (excluding U.S.) charts, remaining on these charts for 38 and 44 weeks, respectively.
