Global girl group KATSEYE, under HYBE and Geffen Records, is experiencing a sharp rise on key music charts in both the U.S. and South Korea. According to the latest Billboard chart (dated September 28) released on the 24th, KATSEYE’s double title track “Touch” from their debut EP SIS (Soft Is Strong) climbed to 125th on the ‘Global Excl. US’ chart and 153rd on the ‘Global 200,’ with respective jumps of 19 and 6 positions from the previous week.
The EP SIS also ranked 27th on the ‘Top Current Album Sales’ chart and 30th on the ‘Top Album Sales’ chart. Thanks to this momentum, KATSEYE secured 7th place on the ‘Emerging Artists’ chart, maintaining a strong position for five consecutive weeks after debuting at number one on August 31.
KATSEYE continues to gain traction on Spotify as well. “Touch” rose to 86th on the ‘Daily Top Songs Global’ chart on September 22, marking a significant jump of 18 positions from the previous day, after initially entering at 198th on August 27. In South Korea, “Touch” has also made an impact on Melon’s Hot100 chart, where it ranked 21st on September 23, within 100 days of its release.
