SEVENTEEN’s Comeback: Mini 12th Album Sells 2.49 Million Copies, Proving Their Dominance

SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) has achieved double million-seller status with the release of their 12th mini-album SPILL THE FEELS. According to Hanteo Chart on October 15, the album sold an impressive 2,494,180 copies on its release day, immediately securing the top spot on the daily album chart.

This marks SEVENTEEN’s second double million-seller in just one day, following the success of their best album 17 IS RIGHT HERE released in April. They are the only K-pop artists this year to surpass 2 million copies sold on the first day of release, reaffirming their title as “album powerhouses.”

Their global popularity is equally remarkable. SPILL THE FEELS quickly topped the iTunes ‘Top Albums’ chart in 18 countries and regions, including Macau, India, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Turkey. It also debuted at No. 2 on the ‘Worldwide iTunes Albums’ chart.

The album’s title track “LOVE, MONEY, FAME” (feat. DJ Khaled) is also off to a strong start, claiming the top spot on Bugs’ real-time chart and ranking high on other major streaming platforms like Melon and Genie. Other tracks from the album, such as “Eyes on You,” “1 TO 13,” “Candy,” “Rain,” and “Water,” have also charted successfully.

SPILL THE FEELS conveys a message of trust, emotional sharing, and resolving worries together. The album title, an anagram of “I FELT HELPLESS,” reflects SEVENTEEN’s message of support and comfort for those who have experienced feelings of helplessness.

The title track, “LOVE, MONEY, FAME” (feat. DJ Khaled), is a groovy R&B/hip-hop song with addictive melodies. Its lyrics, “All I want is your love,” not only reinforce the album’s theme but also express SEVENTEEN’s heartfelt connection with their fanbase, CARATs.

SEVENTEEN will perform on music shows such as Mnet’s M Countdown on October 17 and embark on their SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR, which kicked off with two sold-out shows at Goyang Stadium on October 12–13, attracting 58,000 fans. The tour will continue in major cities across the U.S., Japan, and Asia.
