BOYNEXTDOOR (SungHo, Liu, Myung JaeHyun, TaeSan, LeeHan, UnHak) has revealed their latest track. The group released the music video for their first digital single, “Only for Today I LOVE YOU”, on December 6 at 6 PM KST through HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel.

A Story of Heartbreak and Healing

The music video begins with TaeSan facing rejection and unfolds through scenes depicting the aftermath of a breakup for the six members. From TaeSan running through snowy landscapes to Liu crying in a bathtub, SungHo focused on guitar practice, Myung JaeHyun lying in a pile of laundry, LeeHan smiling while holding balloons, and UnHak blowing bubbles in front of a fan, the visuals evoke both charm and melancholia. The video juxtaposes snowy campsites, cozy homes, and stark subway settings, enhancing its visual appeal.

The MV can also be enjoyed at Shinsegae Square, featuring a revamped digital media façade at Shinsegae Department Store. A teaser was displayed starting December 5, with the full video playing hourly from 6 PM to 9 PM on December 6, adding a unique experience for passersby.

“MZ Breakup Anthem” with a Personal Touch

“Only for Today I LOVE YOU” portrays the raw aftermath of a breakup with relatable lyrics like, “Since that day, I’ve been living like this, unable to pick up my guitar,” and “I hate selling memories for song ideas more than anything.” The song blends band-driven melodies with introspective lyrics, solidifying its place as an anthem for Generation MZ. TaeSan and UnHak personally contributed to the songwriting, infusing the track with their unique identities.

Interactive Fan Experiences

To celebrate the release, the group is offering fans an interactive treat with their official character pop-up event, “BOYNEXTDOOR X BBNEXDO POP-UP ‘BBNEXDO in Town’.” Running from December 10 to 19 at Seoul’s I-GU Seongsu, the pop-up showcases “BBNEXDO,” characters inspired by the members’ personalities and appearances. The event features photo zones themed around their fictional town, exclusive merchandise, and engaging activities, adding another layer of charm to the group’s promotions.

BOYNEXTDOOR’s latest offering captures heartbreak with a touch of youthful exuberance, cementing their status as rising stars with a relatable and creative edge.
