IVE (An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo), known as the MZ Generation’s ultimate icon, has achieved their fifth Perfect All-Kill (PAK) with their latest track, “Rebel Heart”.
On February 11, Starship Entertainment confirmed that “Rebel Heart”, the pre-release track from IVE’s third mini-album “IVE EMPATHY”, had swept No. 1 on all major Korean music charts, securing a Perfect All-Kill. According to various streaming platforms, the song topped Melon, Genie, FLO, VIBE, and Bugs across multiple rankings, including real-time, daily, and ‘TOP 100’ charts, as well as YouTube Music Korea’s Weekly Popular Songs Chart (January 31 – February 6).
This marks IVE’s fifth PAK, following their previous chart-topping hits:
- “After LIKE” (2022)
- “Kitsch” (2023)
- “I AM” (2023)
- “Baddie” (2023)
“Rebel Heart” delivers a message of unity and solidarity among rebels, featuring heartfelt lyrics like “We don’t always need a reason / Sometimes we just need each other”, resonating deeply with listeners. The song’s universal appeal has garnered praise from global music fans.
Adding to its viral success, various artists and popular characters have participated in the “Rebel Heart” dance challenge, including Soran, 10CM, Jeong Sewoon, Yudabinband, Daybreak, LUCY, and Okdal, as well as animated characters like Catch! Teenieping and Jjanman Loopy. This momentum has helped IVE achieve a Triple Crown on both Mnet’s M Countdown and SBS’s Inkigayo, bringing their total music show wins to nine for “Rebel Heart” alone.
