Stray Kids Bang Chan and Felix Meet Overseas Fans Fighting Incurable Diseases

JYP Entertainment and group Stray Kids presented special memories to overseas child patients. JYP signed an MOU for social contribution business with Make-A-Wish Korea in June 2019, and the representative CSR activity ‘EDM (Every Dream Matters!)’, a project that boosts hope by emotionally supporting children with incurable diseases. This time, two overseas patients shared their precious dreams for JYP artists. He said that he became a fan after listening to Stray Kids’ songs in 2018, which was the darkest time due to fighting disease. The two people who said, “We are overcoming the disease life with the song of Stray Kids,” developed a dream of wanting to meet the members, and this wish was delivered to JYP through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Bang Chan and Felix had an unforgettable special time meeting each of their global fans online in line with the non-face-to-face era. Bang Chan and Felix listened to the stories of the children and delivered words of support. Ashlyn Stall said, “I got to know Stray Kids when I felt lost while struggling.”
JYP is steadily taking the lead in fulfilling wishes for children with incurable diseases. JYP will use EDM funds of about 300 million won per year for about 200 overseas children who need medical support due to lack of health infrastructure among children sponsored by World Vision and children living in local development sites.
