“A project that connects fans and artists” YG Entertainment has prepared a space for fans. YG Entertainment announced that “the SameE, a project space that connects fans and artists, will be opened on June 1”. YG explained ‘The SameE’ as “a project that started with the theme of “An artist’s another self is a fan,” and “the name also implies that it is a space designed for fans and artists to stay and relax at the same time and place.”
Visitors can see YG’s will to understand the worldview of fans and artists, and to act as a medium to deepen their bonds. In September of last year, YG reported the relocation to its new building, which was completed in 8 years, and said that it is preparing separate facilities for fans’ convenience and culture. YG said, “As the new office building has been decorated with an independent space in the front building that can be seen at a glance, fans who have visited the artist can use various amenities indoors without suffering from the cold and heat anymore. And fans will continue to share the idea that the artist is another self through the space called ‘The Same’.”
Meanwhile, prior to YG, HYBE also recently opened ‘HYBE Insight’, a complex cultural space for fans of label artists such as BTS, Seventeen, NU’EST, Tomorrow by Together, Enhypen, and Zico.
