aespa has once again reached a new milestone as their fifth mini-album Whiplash crossed the million-sales mark. According to Circle Chart, Whiplash recorded approximately 1.02 million cumulative sales as of November 7, securing aespa’s fifth consecutive million-seller title.

This latest achievement continues the group’s streak of success, beginning with their second mini-album Girls, followed by MY WORLD, Drama, and their first full-length album Armageddon. With both Armageddon and Whiplash achieving million-seller status this year, aespa has solidified their position as one of the most impactful hitmakers in the K-pop industry for both the first and second halves of the year.

Whiplash marks aespa’s first exploration into EDM-based techno, showcasing their evolving sound with the title track “Whiplash.” The album also includes “Kill It,” “Flights, Not Feelings,” “Pink Hoodie,” “Flowers,” and “Just Another Girl,” allowing fans to experience aespa’s matured and expanded musical style across six diverse tracks.
