SM Entertainment announced on the 23rd that its girl group Aespa has signed an agency contract with the largest U.S. agency, Creative Artists Agency (CAA).
SM Entertainment’s girl group, “Aespa”, debuted in November last year and recorded the shortest 100 million views in K-pop group’s debut song “Black Mamba.” The music video for the new song “Next Level” set its own record with 100 million views, 19 days earlier than this. SM Entertainment said Aespa will be more active in global music markets, including the U.S., based on CAA’s global network.
CAA is the largest entertainment and sports agency in the U.S. and has a high influence not only in the U.S. but also in the global entertainment market. Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande are included.
