ATEEZ is gearing up to captivate Japan with their new single album. On September 30, the group released the first music video teaser for the title track “Birthday” from their upcoming 4th Japanese single album Birthday on their official SNS.
In the teaser, the members are seen dancing beneath a dazzling chandelier and exuding a mystical aura in front of exploding fireworks, each showcasing their unique charm in different settings. Despite the brief nature of the video, the catchy beat and the lyrics “Like my Birthday / Like my payday” have already sparked excitement, leaving fans eager to hear the full song.
Birthday marks ATEEZ’s return after seven months, following their 3rd Japanese single NOT OKAY released in February. The title track encourages listeners to face challenges fearlessly and live each day as if it’s a celebration, like a birthday. The album also includes tracks like “Royal,” a collaboration with BE, the mid-tempo ballad “Forevermore,” and instrumental versions, totaling six tracks—all original songs for the album.
To build anticipation, ATEEZ pre-released “Royal,” produced and co-written by member Mingi, with additional lyrics by Hongjoong. The track quickly topped Japan’s Oricon Weekly Digital Ranking (September 16), demonstrating the group’s strong local influence.
Additionally, ATEEZ recently announced their 2025 world tour TOWARDS THE LIGHT: WILL TO POWER in Europe, with 12 concerts across nine countries. They made headlines by becoming the first K-pop group to perform a solo concert at France’s La Défense Arena, which can accommodate up to 40,000 people.
ATEEZ’s 4th Japanese single Birthday will officially be released tomorrow, October 2.
