BabyMonster Achieves Rapid Growth with 6 Million YouTube Subscribers

YG Entertainment’s new girl group BabyMonster has quickly proven its global popularity by surpassing 6 million subscribers on their official YouTube channel.

On the 25th, YG Entertainment announced that BabyMonster’s YouTube channel had reached 6 million subscribers, an impressive feat considering the channel was created only about a year and a half ago. This rapid growth is particularly notable given that the group has just made their official debut.

YouTube subscriber count is a significant indicator of a dedicated global fanbase. BabyMonster had already gained substantial attention and amassed 4 million subscribers even before their debut, thanks to their standout skills and presence among international fans.

Since releasing their official debut single ‘SHEESH’ on April 1, the group’s subscriber count has accelerated, with over 10,000 new subscribers joining daily, according to YG. Their strong live performance capabilities, showcased during music show appearances, have garnered widespread acclaim, expanding their fanbase.

BabyMonster is also living up to the title of ‘YouTube Queen’ with impressive view counts. They have four videos surpassing 100 million views, and their high-quality performance videos, behind-the-scenes content, and more routinely garner millions of views, contributing to a total of over 2 billion cumulative views.

BabyMonster is set to continue their rise with the release of their new single ‘FOREVER’ on July 1 at midnight. They are currently conducting their first fan meeting tour, ‘[BABYMONSTER PRESENTS: SEE YOU THERE],’ and are scheduled to perform at Japan’s largest music festival, ‘Summer Sonic 2024,’ in August, further solidifying their position as a leading global group.
