BabyMonster has successfully marked its presence on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global Chart for two consecutive days. According to Spotify’s data on April 3rd, their mini album’s title track ‘SHEESH’ ranked 84th, following its impressive debut at the highest position of 69th among K-pop girl group songs released this year.
In just two days, Spotify’s monthly listeners for BabyMonster surged by approximately 340,000, reaching 4 million, while their followers increased by about 90,000 to over 840,000. The music video for ‘SHEESH’ also captivated a global audience, quickly surpassing 10 million views on YouTube within eight hours of its release and has since climbed to over 49 million views, maintaining the top spot on YouTube’s Daily Popular Music Videos globally for three days.
With the official promotional activities for ‘SHEESH’ yet to begin, anticipation is building for what lies ahead. BabyMonster is set to release a performance video produced by YG on April 5th, followed by their first music show appearance on SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ on April 7th.
The group plans to engage with fans in South Korea through diverse content, TV appearances, and fan signing events. Furthermore, they aim to expand their global presence with a fan meeting tour across five Asian cities, including Tokyo, Jakarta, Singapore, Taipei, and Bangkok, and a performance at Japan’s largest music festival, ‘Summer Sonic 2024’.
