The group Blackpink kicked off their world tour in Thailand, the hometown of member Lisa.
Blackpink held ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR BANGKOK’ at the National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on the 7th and 8th. It was a performance that launched a signal flare for the Asian tour, and it was a city that returned after about 4 years since January 2019.
The National Stadium is one of the world’s most popular venues for concerts by pop star Michael Jackson and masses by Pope Francis.
Blackpink was the first female artist in the world to enter the main stage and at the same time spent two days with about 85,000 spectators.
On the first day, a random dance play event with fans’ voluntary participation drew attention. As if responding to fans’ expectations, Blackpink poured their passion into one.
Lisa, who has been on the stage in her hometown for the first time in a while, has been admiring the enthusiastic response of local fans.
Blackpink is conducting the largest world tour of a K-pop girl group, attracting about 1.5 million people.
