Blackpink Rose is the only Korean artist to participate in the playlist theme exclusively prepared by Apple Music on the occasion of ‘World Women’s Day’.
Many global female artists such as Ariana Grande, Cardi B, and Cara Delevingne participate in this event.
Rose recommended 25 songs she picked, including British singer-song writer Amy Winehouse’s ‘Love is a losing game’, Blackpink’s ‘Whistle’, ‘Lovesick Girls’ ‘Ddu-du-du-du’ and Jennie’s solo song ‘SOLO’.
“Love is a losing game,” said Rosé, “is the saddest song in the world,” and “Singing honest and transparent emotions is also the charm of this song.”
In addition, Blackpink is selected as one of the 54 members of ‘Women That Have Made an Impact in Global Entertainment’ recently selected by the US media Variety ahead of ‘World Women’s Day’.
