BLACKPINK has added another music video to their growing list of billion-view achievements on YouTube.
According to YG Entertainment, as of 10:46 PM on September 14th, BLACKPINK’s music video for “As If It’s Your Last” surpassed 1.4 billion views on YouTube. This milestone comes approximately 7 years and 3 months after its release on June 22, 2017.
With this achievement, BLACKPINK now holds a total of five videos with over 1.4 billion views, out of 46 videos that have crossed the billion-view mark. Other music videos reaching similar milestones include “DDU-DU DDU-DU” (2.2 billion views), “Kill This Love” (2 billion views), “BOOMBAYAH” (1.7 billion views), and the dance performance video for “How You Like That” (1.6 billion views).
“As If It’s Your Last” is a dance track known for its addictive lead synth and romantic lyrics. The song has topped the iTunes Song Chart in 74 countries, including the U.S. and the U.K., and dominated worldwide charts. It was also recognized as the “Most Loved K-pop Video” globally in the year of its release.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK continues to solidify their status as the “Queens of YouTube.” Their official YouTube channel boasts over 94.8 million subscribers, the highest among all male and female artists worldwide, with a cumulative content view count exceeding 36.7 billion.
