YG Entertainment announced on the 13th that Blackpink’s ‘Ice Cream’ music video surpassed 700 million views on YouTube around 4:08 am on the 14th (KST).
Prior to ‘Ice Cream’, ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ (1.8 billion views), ‘Kill This Love’ (1.5 billion views), ‘Boombaya’ (1.3 billion views), ‘As if it were your last’ (1.1 billion views) , ‘How You Like That’ music video and its performance video (1 billion views), and Jennie’s solo songs ‘SOLO’, ‘Whistle’, and ‘Playing with Fire’ music videos reached 700 million views.
The song topped the iTunes World Wide Chart immediately after its release, and then climbed to number 13 on the US Billboard Hot 100, renewing its own top ranking for K-pop girl groups.
