BLACKPINK’s new single “Jump” has soared to No. 1 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart, YG Entertainment announced on July 14. This marks the group’s third time topping the chart following their 2022 hits “Pink Venom” and “Shut Down,” making them the first and most frequent K-pop group to achieve this milestone.
“Jump” is a bold foray into the hardstyle genre, featuring Western film-inspired guitar riffs blended with the members’ distinctive vocals. Since its release on July 11, the track has amassed over 13.09 million streams in just two days and has topped iTunes Top Songs charts in 60 countries, including the U.S. and U.K.
The achievement coincided with BLACKPINK’s sold-out North American debut for their “Deadline” world tour at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on July 12–13. YG reported that BLACKPINK became the first girl group to sell out back-to-back shows at the venue, drawing a record-setting 100,000 fans over two days.
