BLACKPINK’s Rosé has set a new milestone on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 with her global hit “Apartment,” breaking the record for the longest-charting song by a female K-pop soloist.
According to Billboard’s latest update on April 22 (local time), “Apartment” maintained its position at No. 13 for the second consecutive week, marking its 26th straight week on the Hot 100. This surpasses the previous record of 25 weeks set by FIFTY FIFTY’s “Cupid” in 2023.
Since debuting at No. 8 in October last year, “Apartment” initially saw a gradual decline before rebounding to reach a peak of No. 3 earlier this year, demonstrating sustained global popularity.
Among all K-pop soloists, the longest-running song on the Hot 100 remains BTS’s Jimin’s “Who,” which charted for a non-consecutive total of 33 weeks.
