To commemorate the 20th anniversary of her debut in Japan, singer BoA is conducting a ‘self-cover project’ that re-arranges and releases hit songs every week for 10 weeks.
On the 21st, the first song ‘Aggressive’ from the Japanese 6th album ‘The Face’ is released. The next day, her 20th anniversary album ‘The Greatest’ will be released.
BoA made her Japanese debut in May 2001 with the single ‘ID; Peace B’. She has since released two million-selling albums as well as becoming the first Korean singer to top the Oricon charts. She also wrote a record of being the first Korean to appear in NHK’s ‘Red and White Song Exhibition’ for six consecutive years and record sales exceeding 10 million copies in Japan.
