BTS ‘Butter’ #1 again in Hot 100… First-ever record!

BTS once again took first place on the Billboard main single chart ‘Hot 100’ on the 31st with the digital single ‘Butter’ released on May 21st.  

On the chart on the 24th, “Butter” gave up first place to the new song ‘Permission to Dance’, but it succeeded in going backwards in a week and achieved the ninth record. According to MRC data, “Butter” recorded 30.7 million weekly radio listeners by the 22nd. Thanks to this, “Butter” also topped the digital song sales chart again. “Permission to Dance,” which made its debut last week with “Hot 100” hotshot debut, was ranked seventh in “Hot 100.” According to Billboard, BTS is the first artist to have reached the #1 spot on the ‘Hot 100’ with their own song, and then topped the list again without giving up the first place to another artist.

Now, the remaining concern is which song of ‘Butter’ or ‘Permission to Dance’ will take the top spot on ‘Hot 100’ next week.
