BTS has achieved cumulative million points again in the weekly single ranking of the Oricon chart in Japan with ‘Dynamite’.
The agency Big Hit Entertainment said on the 25th, “According to the latest chart released by Oricon in Japan (as of March 1), the digital single ‘Dynamite’, which was released by BTS on August 21st last year, was ranked 6th in the ‘weekly combined single ranking’ in the counting period from February 15th to 21st.”
The Oricon Weekly Total Single Ranking is a chart that ranks the number of points converted by adding the number of digital downloads and the number of streaming.
BTS recorded a million points for the second time following the Japanese single album ‘Lights/Boy With Luv’ released in July 2019.
‘Lights/Boy With Luv’ surpassed the cumulative million points in the weekly rankings on October 19 last year, about 1 year and 3 months after it was released, and ‘Dynamite’ achieved the million points in 6 months much faster than that.
BTS was nominated for the ‘BEST POP DUO/GROUP PERFORMANCE’ category at the ‘2021 Grammy Awards’ with ‘Dynamite’.
