BTS’ digital single ‘Dynamite’ has received double platinum certification from the American Record Industry Association (RIAA), the agency Big Hit Entertainment announced on the 18th.
The RIAA counts digital downloads, audio and video streaming, and physical album sales, and certifies singles and albums as gold (over 500,000 units), platinum (over 1 million), double platinum (over 2 million), or diamonds (over 10 million).
Earlier, BTS received the first platinum certification in the single category with ‘MIC Drop’ in November 2018.
In January and June of last year, they also received platinum certifications for “Idol” and “Boy With Luv” respectively.
In the album category, in January of last year, they received their first platinum certification with “LOVE YOURSELF 結 Answer”.
In November of the same year, they also received platinum certification in the RIAA album category for “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7”.
