For about 3 hours of running time, BTS and Army shared every moment of the performance. The second performance of ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE LA’ started on the 28th.
Unlike other tours in the past, ‘Permission to Dance on Stage’ had all 7 members on stage. Along with several hit songs made by BTS over the past 7 years, the set list was packed full of songs that could not be shown in front of the audience due to the pandemic. The members burst into laughter throughout the performance.
Jungkook said, “It’s so much fun,” several times, and RM was caught waving a smoke gun in a trance. Jin, Jimin, and V also frantically ran around the venue to communicate with the fans. Suga continued to dance even though it was “too hard”, and J-Hope immersed himself in the performance, saying that even hunger was “a mental will.”
From the opening greetings to the mid-introduction comments, all 7 members, including RM, shared their comments in English and depended on each other.
The atmosphere of the face-to-face performance was different from the online performance. On the stage decorated with the twinkle of ARMY Bomb, BTS shone even more.
The members approached the fans in a rail car decorated with beds and an orange mobile car that traversed the floor.
As the 50,000 ARMYs jumped in unison, the entire venue vibrated.
RM said, “First of all, I’m sorry about my neck. Because I was able to sing in front of 50,000 wonderful fans. Maybe I used up too much energy the day before, and I felt, ‘I don’t think I’ll be able to do it well today’. But ARMY made magic.”
J-Hope said, “Today, when we hear the shouts of ARMYs and perform, is a very meaningful day in our lives. BTS and Army are unique to each other,” he emphasized.
Jimin said, “It felt like going back 7 or 8 years ago.”
Jin said, “I think we and Army are making a movie together. I will do whatever it takes to make this movie, and I will do my best in any shameful work” and showed a cute appearance by transforming into a two-pronged robot hairstyle in the Netflix drama ‘Squid Game’ for ARMY.
