Applicants who want to become the next BTS or more have gathered.
On the 8th, a HYBE multi-label audition was held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel South Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
It is an audition where 7 labels of HYBE participated in the area where the BTS concert was held. They came to take the second practical test.
Charlie Hunnicut (11, female), who was the first to apply for the dance part that day, said, “My grandmother likes BTS’ songs, and she recommended me to participate in this audition.” Deborah (58), a grandmother who came to the audition with Charlie, said, “K-pop music is different from English-American music. If my granddaughter can become a K-pop star, I will go to Korea and help her.”
There are no foreigners among BTS members, but those who participated in the audition are each pursuing a second BTS or a new role model.
John Jernstad, in charge of HYBE America’s communications, said, “We are also accepting on-site applications, and the number of online applicants is 13,000, and we will audition for 300 to 400 people a day.”
