According to the “Annual Ranking 2022” released by Japan’s Oricon on the 23rd, BTS won first place in the “Total Ranking” and “Digital Division” in the “Sales by Artist” category.
BTS, who topped the ‘Total Ranking’ in this category, became the first foreign artist to reach the top of this chart for two consecutive years, setting a new record.
BTS also took first place in the ‘Digital Ranking’ in the ‘Sales by Artist’ category with various works, including the number of plays of ‘Dynamite’, ‘Butter’, and ‘Permission to Dance’ and digital album downloads of the album ‘Proof’.
