BTS, Japan’s Oricon No. 1 for 2 weeks in a row

The group BTS topped the Oricon weekly album chart for two weeks in a row with the best album ‘BTS, The Best’ released in Japan. According to the latest chart released by Oricon on the 29th (July 5, counting period, June 21-27), BTS’s ‘BTS, The Best’ released on the 16th recorded weekly sales of 76,000 copies. It took first place on the ‘Weekly Album Ranking’ and maintained the top spot for two weeks in a row. ‘BTS, The Best’ sold 782,000 copies and took the top spot in the ‘Weekly Album Ranking’ in the first week of release, while setting a new record for ‘Best Sales in the First Week’ this year. According to Oricon, the second most sold BTS album in Japan after ‘BTS, The Best’ is the Japanese full-length album ‘Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey ~’ with cumulative sales of 704,000 copies.
