Recent photos of BTS members Jimin and Jungkook have surfaced, showing their first public appearance since their military enlistment. On the 17th, Professor Kim Eul-ho from the Graduate School of Soongsil University shared photos on his social media from a special project at the 5th Infantry Division’s new recruit training center. The photos capture Jimin and Jungkook, who had their hair cut short, sitting among the trainees, attentively participating in a lecture.
Professor Kim described the event as a “first lecture on writing” and expressed his impression, stating, “I was with the best trainees who showed unparalleled concentration and reactions, beyond what words like ‘the best’ could describe.” This glimpse into their military life reveals the seriousness and focus of Jimin and Jungkook as they adjust to their new roles.
BTS began their military service sequentially, starting with the eldest member, Jin, in December last year, followed by J-Hope in April, and recently RM and V. Suga has been serving as a public service worker since September. Jimin and Jungkook enlisted together on the 12th of this month at the new recruit training center of the 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province.
With all members fulfilling their military duties, BTS is expected to resume full group activities in 2025, after completing their service commitments. This marks a significant pause in their career as a group, with fans eagerly awaiting their return to the music scene.
