BTS Jimin’s ‘Face’ reached 800 million streams… first record as a K-pop solo

Jimin, a member of the group BTS, achieved the first record as a Korean solo artist on Spotify, the world’s largest music platform. 

According to the statistics of the music platform Spotify on the 17th, Jimin’s solo album ‘FACE’ achieved a total of about 800 million streams in 116 days after its release, setting the record for the shortest K-pop solo record and the first as a single album. 

Jimin’s solo album ‘Face’ has been ranked #1 on Billboard’s ‘Hot 100’ with the title song ‘Like Crazy’, which was the first Korean solo to top Spotify Global Daily. 

At the time, the song recorded 360 million streams on Spotify, continuing an extraordinary record.
