BTS Jungkook’s Seven Achieves 100 Million Streams & Platinum Certification

BTS member Jungkook has achieved a major milestone with his solo track Seven surpassing 100 million streams and earning a Platinum certification from the Circle Chart.

On January 29, Circle Chart confirmed that Jungkook’s 2023 digital single Seven (clean version) officially joined the Platinum streaming category, marking another accolade for the artist.

Jungkook has been a dominant force on the 2024 Circle Global K-pop Chart, with 11 solo tracks ranking, the most for any soloist. His solo album GOLDEN and title track “Standing Next to You” also achieved significant success, securing No. 3 on the yearly male soloist rankings. The song climbed 27 spots higher compared to the previous year-end ranking.

Additionally, 9 out of 11 tracks from GOLDEN ranked on the chart, alongside his self-composed fan song Still With You and Never Let Go.

Jungkook’s streaming power has been undeniable. On Spotify’s 2024 Wrapped, he was recognized as the 2nd most-streamed K-pop artist globally. His hit Seven became the first K-pop song to surpass 2 billion streams on Spotify, solidifying its place in history.

At the 2024 Billboard Music Awards, Jungkook’s “GOLDEN” and “Standing Next to You” won two major awards:

  • Top K-Pop Album (GOLDEN)
  • Top Global K-Pop Song (Standing Next to You)

Jungkook’s GOLDEN also made history on the Billboard 200, debuting at No. 2 and staying on the chart for 24 consecutive weeks—the longest charting album by a Korean soloist.

Meanwhile, Standing Next to You debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Jungkook’s 6th solo entry on the chart.

Jungkook is currently serving in the South Korean military after enlisting on December 12, 2023. His discharge date is set for June 11, 2025.
