BTS’s Jungkook has achieved a major milestone with his solo single “Seven,” surpassing 2 billion streams on Spotify, marking a historic achievement for an Asian artist. Released in July of last year, “Seven” recently exceeded 2.001 billion streams (pre-filtered) on Spotify, reaching this landmark in just 467 days.
With “Seven,” Jungkook has become the fastest Asian artist to reach 2 billion streams on Spotify and ranks as the fourth fastest globally among both group and solo artists. This also makes “Seven” the quickest song released in 2023 to achieve 2 billion streams, surpassing Miley Cyrus’s “Flowers,” which took 502 days.
Previously, “Seven” set unprecedented records on Spotify as the fastest song to hit 100 million, 900 million, 1 billion, and 1.1 billion streams (pre-filtered). The song initially forecast its massive success by amassing 112.8 million streams in its debut week, showcasing Jungkook’s global popularity and the track’s viral appeal.
