BTS has been nominated for the U.S. People’s Choice Awards (PCA). There are four categories in total.
According to the list of candidates for the People’s Choice Awards announced on the 27th (local time), BTS has been named in four categories: The Group of 2022, The Concert Tour of 2022, The Music Video of 2022 and The Collaboration Song of 2022. In particular, they will try to win three consecutive awards in the categories “Group of the Year” and “The Most Beautiful Moment”. BTS was nominated for the award for “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE” on “Concert Tour of the Year.” “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE,” which was held 11 times in three cities, including Los Angeles, Seoul and Las Vegas, recorded about 458,000 spectators, ranking fourth in the U.S. Billboard box score “Top Tour.”
The BTS also achieved remarkable results in individual activities. Jungkook was nominated for “Music Video of the Year” and “Collaboration Song of the Year” for his collaboration song “Left and Right (Feat. Jung Cook of BTS)” with Charlie Puth. The song has become so popular that it has been on the Billboard main single chart “Hot 100” for 17 consecutive weeks (as of October 29). Meanwhile, “People’s Choice Awards” will be held in Santa Monica, California, on December 6th, and will air on NBC and E Channel.
