BTS Suga Tests Positive for Covid

Group BTS member Suga (real name Min Yoon-gi, 28) was diagnosed with Covid after returning home.

Big Hit Music, the management company, announced on the 24th that “Suga received a PCR test after entering Korea and was confirmed yesterday morning while in self-quarantine.” Suga had already completed the second dose of the corona vaccine at the end of August, and this is a case of “breakthrough infection”.

He is currently receiving treatment at home according to the guidelines of the quarantine authorities, and his symptoms are said to be mild. The agency said, “Suga, who had a personal schedule in the United States during BTS’ official vacation, tested negative before leaving the United States. As he went into self-quarantine after being tested right after returning home according to quarantine procedures, he had no contact with other members.”

“We will do our best to support Suga so that he can recover his health as soon as possible, considering the health and safety of the artist as the top priority,” he added.
