BTS has once again affirmed their global influence, with Apple Music naming their song “Dynamite” the 34th most-streamed track worldwide over the past ten years. The platform released a list of the top 500 most-played songs globally, with BTS being the only K-pop group included. In addition to “Dynamite,” their hit “Butter” also made the list at 252nd, underscoring the group’s enduring popularity.

“Dynamite,” released in 2020, marked BTS’s first English-language track and gained international acclaim for its upbeat disco-pop style and lively choreography. Amid the global hardships of the COVID-19 pandemic, the song delivered a message of hope. It became the first song by a Korean artist to top the Billboard Hot 100, maintaining the position for three weeks. It also won “Best Song” at the MTV Europe Music Awards and “Top Selling Song” at the Billboard Music Awards. “Dynamite” was nominated for a Grammy and achieved Diamond certification in Japan faster than any other track.

Their 2021 single “Butter” also saw historic success, spending ten weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning multiple awards, including “Favorite Pop Song” at the American Music Awards and “Top Selling Song” at the Billboard Music Awards. Like “Dynamite,” “Butter” secured a Grammy nomination, marking two consecutive years of recognition. Looking ahead, BTS is set to release their first live album, PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LIVE, on July 18, featuring 22 performances from their world tour, including fan favorites such as “ON,” “FIRE,” “Dope,” and “IDOL.”
