On the 29th, at 1 PM KST, BTS’s Jungkook will release his second solo single ‘3D (feat. Jack Harlow).’
Previously, Jungkook began promoting ‘3D’ by releasing two ‘Hero Films’ and ‘1D’ version concept photos on the 24th alongside the news of his new song. ‘3D’ is an R&B pop genre song that cleverly explores feelings for an unreachable person using the concept of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd dimensions. This new single comes approximately two months after his global hit song ‘Seven,’ which topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and spent nine weeks at No. 1 on the ‘Global’ chart (excluding the U.S.). In ‘Seven,’ Jungkook collaborated with female rapper Latto.
This time, rapper Jack Harlow, who previously reached No. 1 on the ‘Hot 100’ with ‘Industry Baby,’ featuring Lil Nas X, will be featured on the track, bringing his unique rap style to the song.
Jungkook continues to make strides on the global stage, as seen by his recent headline performance at the ‘2023 Global Citizen Festival’ in New York’s Central Park, making him the first Korean solo artist to do so. During this performance, he sang solo songs like ‘Seven,’ ‘Euphoria,’ ‘Still With You,’ and also presented a medley of BTS’s ‘Hot 100’ No. 1 hits including ‘Permission to Dance,’ ‘Dynamite,’ and ‘Butter,’ receiving cheers from the audience.
