BTS’s Jungkook continues to shine on the global music stage as his solo single “3D” surpasses 100 million streams on Spotify. Released on September 29th, Jungkook’s second solo single achieved this impressive milestone within just 15 days.
“3D” recorded a total of 151,697,760 streams, showcasing the enthusiastic love and commercial power it garnered from listeners worldwide. Notably, it became the second-fastest K-pop solo song to reach 100 million streams, following Jungkook’s first solo single “Seven,” which achieved this feat in less than six days.
The success of “3D” extended to other areas as well. In just seven days, it secured the second-highest weekly debut streaming among K-pop solo songs with 54,083,605 cumulative streams, trailing only “Seven,” which achieved 112,839,884 cumulative streams within its debut week. Additionally, “3D” claimed the top spot on Spotify’s “Daily Top Songs Global” chart shortly after its release, emphasizing its strong streaming power.
Jungkook’s previous solo single “Seven” also made history by surpassing 900 million streams on Spotify in just 92 days, setting a remarkable record. With “3D” on the rise, Jungkook’s upcoming first official solo album, “GOLDEN,” is highly anticipated. The title track, “Standing Next to You,” is a groovy retro punk song that is expected to continue Jungkook’s streak of global hits following “Seven” and “3D.”
