“BTSxGRAMMYs”… BTS, a step towards the Grammy dream

Following the Grammy Award nominations, BTS proved unlimited growth as a performer.
BTS will perform at the ’63rd Grammy Awards’ held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, USA on the 14th.
BTS stands together with leading artists from all over the world, including Cardi B, Coldplay Chris Martin, Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Megan thee Stallion, Post Malone, Harry Styles, and Taylor Swift.
According to the analysis tool, the country that most shared or wrote the ‘BTSxGRAMMYs’ hashtag on Twitter is the United States.
This is the third time for BTS to attend the Grammy. Since its debut in 2013, BTS, which has risen to its present position with steady growth, is expanding its influence in Grammy as well. It was nominated for the Grammy ‘Best Record’ category last year, and is a tie record with Lil Nas X’s ‘Old Town Road’, which BTS also sang.
BTS was the first Korean singer and the first non-English-speaking singer to be ranked in the top 10 for three consecutive years.
IFPI Chairman Frances Moore said, “BTS is a global phenomenon. They provide the good influence of music that brings joy and happiness to people around the world.”
Billboard selected ‘The Best Pop Stars by Year 1981~2020’ and introduced BTS as a representative pop star of 2020. BTS is the first Asian artist to be selected as the ‘Best Pop Star by Year’.
The ’63rd Grammy Awards’ featuring BTS will be broadcast live at 8:00 pm on the 14th EST.
